Spent grain skonsur and brewing at Tryggvagata

Pictures are at the bottom...

Time to brew, and time to experiment again. I'd wanted to do something with the spent grains before, and I had some milk in the fridge which needed to get used up before it went off. So, skonsur it is! I also decided to take a few photos of the brewing, as this was my last brew at Tryggvagata.

Karl's spent grain skonsur recipe:

Mix it all up in a pot sticky with malt extract, and ladle it out good and thick on a nice proper icelandic pancake pan on a medium heat. Grease the pan with butter. It's much better than marg or olive oil or anything like that. Serve as you would any other skonsur, only admire the most excellent taste.
